Who we are

About

A reliable engineering and construction partner, clearly separating the experience of the parent group from current and future projects in Poland.

UGES Poland

UGES Poland is the Warsaw-based branch (Oddział) representing the engineering expertise of the international consortium Research & Production Association Ukrhidroenergobud, serving investors, infrastructure owners, contractors and the public sector across Poland and the EU.

About the consortium

The Consortium RPA Ukrhidroenergobud was established in October 2005 to consolidate the engineering and technical potential of specialized construction, assembly and adjustment organizations, and to deliver integrated projects for the construction of new and the reconstruction of operating hydroelectric power stations on a turnkey basis — both in Ukraine and abroad.

Areas of activity

Three core directions: reconstruction of operating hydroelectric power plants; construction of pumped storage power plants; and maintenance of equipment for hydroelectric and pumped storage power plants.

Objectives

To increase the reliability, efficiency and prospective development of the hydropower industry through reconstruction and technical re-equipment of operating plants, completion of new water-storage facilities, and rehabilitation and construction of hydroelectric plants on minor rivers.

Quality, safety & compliance

Integrated management systems certified by Bureau Veritas to ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment), ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health & safety) and ISO 37001:2016 (anti-corruption), with recertification audits in 2017, 2020 and 2023.

Track record

Two decades of delivery on strategic facilities including the Dniester PSPP (one of Europe's largest pumped storage plants), Kaniv HPP, Dniester HPP, Kyiv HPP & PSPP, Kakhovka, Kremenchuk, Dnipro-1 and Tashlyk.
